About these terms

These terms apply when you use the MAALSO Logistics rider app (the “App”) provided by MAALSO, Mogadishu, Somalia. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you have a separate written rider agreement with MAALSO, that agreement also applies and wins if the two differ.

Your account

Application and approval

MAALSO reviews every application and may approve it, ask you to fix something, or reject it. We may ask you to update documents later (for example when a licence expires). Approval does not guarantee a minimum number of jobs.

Doing deliveries

Cash on delivery

Some deliveries require you to collect payment. The cash belongs to MAALSO or the seller, not to you. Keep it safe, stay within the cash limit shown in the App, and hand it in at a MAALSO hub or by the method MAALSO tells you. Any shortage is recorded and must be settled with MAALSO.

Earnings and payouts

The App shows what you earn for each delivery and your payout history. Payouts go to the mobile money or bank account in your profile on the schedule shown in the App. If you think a payout is wrong, contact support within 30 days.

Safety and conduct

Not allowed

Suspension and ending your account

MAALSO may suspend or close an account for fraud, unsafe riding, repeated failed deliveries, cash not handed in, abuse, or breaking these terms. We will tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it, and you can ask support to review the decision. You can close your account at any time — see Delete your account. Cash you hold and amounts you owe must still be settled.

Responsibility

We work to keep the App available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, MAALSO is not responsible for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are important we will tell you in the App before they apply. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia. Questions: [email protected] or Help in the App.
